High-Pressure / High-Temperature Applications

STRECON develops, builds, and assists installing stripwound tool solutions to a broad range of high-pressure synthesis needs of the industry today. Our tool technology is limited to the belt type HPS designs.

We work with small, medium, and large companies, and we make system platforms for niche productions as well as company product standard platforms. We make tooling solutions for small, medium, and large-sized presses. 

In principle, the STRECON stripwound container can be used for every kind of high-pressure synthesis process: 

• Synthesis of diamond and CBN grits
• Synthesis of polycrystalline diamond and CBN products for cutting, turning, sawing, drilling, mining, grinding etc.
• Synthesis of single crystals
• Etc.

STRECON is a tooling company. This means that we work closely with our client as regards designing, building and installing the stripwound tool solutions that fits his needs and preferences. Our scope of interest, engineering, and tool solutions are limited to the mechanical aspects of the HPS system. We do not engage in the actual HP-HT process itself, nor in the cell and capsule design, process layout, etc. We simply consider the high-pressure synthesis process to be the proprietary know-how of the individual client.
