Travelling by plane

The airport is situated a few kilometers from Sønderborg. We recommend booking your flight through to Sønderborg via Copenhagen. In this way the domestic flight Copenhagen / Sønderborg / and return will in many cases be free of charge.

Upon arrival at Copenhagen Airport, please go through the passport control and clear your luggage through the customs. Immediately outside the customs department, reservations can be made for domestic flights to Sønderborg Airport. A free shuttle bus service is available between the international and domestic airports.

Hamburg Airport is situated about 200 kilometers from Sønderborg.   

Travelling by car

Follow the motorway E45 (German A7) from Hamburg or from other parts of Denmark. Take the exit "Sønderborg" and follow the main road No. "8" to Sønderborg (about 30 km).

When you come to Sønderborg, pass the bridge, stay on the left lane, follow the road straight ahead until the first roundabout system. Here you take the first exit to the right (Grundtvigs Allé), and hereafter again the first road to the right "Ellegårdvej". Then right there you will find STRECON in the complex "Syddanske Forskerparker" on your left hand.
