Introduction: Robot Assisted Polishing
Perhaps a little surprising, the important process of polishing of industrial tools and components are largely done by trained craftmen. However, according to a recent market survey the industry is searching for a machine tool solution that ensures both a flexible, qualitative, and cost-effective polishing process.
Therefore, we proudly present the new STRECON Robot Assisted Polishing Machine - also known as RAP.
The RAP product idea is to make a machine tool that builds on the merits of the crafted polisher. The RAP machine is fully controlled by the RAP operator, who normally is the crafted polisher. By using the RAP interface, the operator programmes the machine to do the polishing job using his many years of experience and knowledge about functional surface requirements of the workpiece. This is a big difference from the existing polishing equipment and routines as these are largely operated with little or no control of the actual polishing process.
After reviewing this site about the new RAP polishing technology and machine solution, we hope to receive your call for a further discussion about a RAP solution for your company. |
